The Gooner Review 09/10 - your fan videos needed!

The Gooner Review 09-10 needs you!

We want to use more fan film footage in this years' film and so we'd love you to send in video clips of yourselves or your friends' reactions to key matches during this season to possibly use in the new film. This was one of the suggestions that several fans have made: to see more fans reactions. You will be paid if we decide to use your video clip in the final film. Please send your videos to edthegoonerreview@googlemail.com or upload to YouTube and send us the link.

We want to get as many Gooners involved in this as possible so please get in touch!

Look out for the Gooner Review team at upcoming matches where we will be filming for the 09 - 10 film. Come along and join us - for a short interview about the season so far or just to have a chat about what we should do with the 09 - 10 film. Or email us your thoughts to edthegoonerreview@googlemail.com

Charity Screening success

Last night The Phoenix Cinema in East Finchley was over-run by Arsenal fans all there to watch the premiere charity screening of The Gooner Review 08-09. It was a groundbreaking event with the Phoenix taken over by over 200 Arsenal devotees.

Actor, comedian, and presenter of the film, Paul Kaye, introduced the screening and kindly did a Q&A afterwards which everyone seemed to enjoy.

So overall it was a great night - a cinema with over 200 Gooners chanting Arsenal songs led by Paul Kaye was quite a spectacular sight!

Check out a short video clip of the action

The Gooner Review team are looking at more locations/venues/cities across the country to screen the Gooner Review 08-09. So if you wish to experience what we experienced last night then please get in touch to arrange a screening in your area. Please send your suggestions to:

  • We can now confirm all (thats 100%) of the profits from the film will be going towards Bob Wilson Willow Foundation
  • You can now pre-order The Gooner Review film for a special price of £9.99 before Saturday 1st August

Special Guest Presenter!

As mentioned in an earlier post, Paul Kaye hasn't only done an interview for us, but he will now be presenting the film. We spent a great day filming with Paul, in which he will be using his wit and comical tongue to excitingly bring the film together.

For people who don't know of Paul Kaye:
He is a comedian and actor achieving notoriety in 1995 portraying the character of Dennis Pennis, a shock interviewer on The Sunday Show. Recently he has been known as rude New Jersey lawyer Mike Strutter with his own show Strutter on MTV.

For more info on Paul check out IMDB
